In our continued commitment to inform those we serve about what we do and the services we provide, the Office of the FAIS Ombud will highlight the rights and obligations of consumers and financial providers alike, in respect of advice and intermediary services rendered for financial services and products.
The public will also have the opportunity to engage face to face with the FAIS Ombud and his staff to learn more about what we do, and, if required, receive assistance with any financial service-related complaints. Remember, this service is rendered to consumers at no cost and if we agree with the basis of your complaint, we can intervene to resolve your dispute with your financial advisor, insurer, investment house or bank.
